Truly, this is the 1st Commandment To Be A Sales Rockstar: Unselling. Get to know people. Engage people with random questions, like how do you make a PB&J sandwich? By unlocking stories, offering to help and share tips, the door to collaborate widens.

Here are a few nuggets,

• You never know what you may uncover: Zappos & Chinese Laundry began with a relationship and taking a risk on idea.
  
  
• What's your big idea and how are you serving your community? Yoga, mediation, art, music, behind-the-scenes. Give the goodness that's happening all around you, not just your final product - anything goes these days to make people feel great.
  
  
• Can Anyone Become a Sales Rockstar? Here's one tip - A confused buyer does not buy. I call this Commandment #8, to be pro-choice. I works to get your way for dinner too. Pro-choice meaning, 2 different offers with a wide range. Somewhere in there is your final opportunity.
  


• Shake Up Your Comfort Zone: If you don't have any experience at something -- Should you try it? What do you think? It probably depends on 'what,' but if it's baking or making a fashion line, these are attainable to all, you just need guidance.
  
  Start small. Live to your potential -- you sometimes need to stretch the walls to see how far you will go.
